The following represents the Privacy Policy of the Santa Teresa Men’s Golf Club which is hereby referred to as the STMGC and/or the Club.

STMGC is committed to the protection of your privacy and has thus listed below the common practices it will follow with respect to the privacy of all members of the Club.

Collecting Information

There are a variety of ways that you may provide us with personal information at the STMGC. These include, but are not limited to, in-person discussions, phone calls, online forms, and mail-in forms.

You may submit on-line requests, such as information regarding membership, golf tournaments, or social events that the STMGC may offer to its members. In doing so, you may be asked to provide your name, GHIN, e-mail address, telephone numbers and/or street address.

If you choose to disclose your e-mail address or other contact information through any correspondence, registration, reservation procedure, contract, or request for information, we may use it to periodically to send you information.

How We Use the Information

The information collected is used by STMGC to verify that you are, in fact, a member and that you are permitted to receive Club related e-mail (news, events, etc.). We do not provide third parties with this information and is used only to provide you with ongoing communication. (Exceptions include legal entities to comply with existing statutes, and regulatory agencies ( eg…NCGA).

If you choose to disclose your e-mail address or other contact information through any correspondence, registration, reservation procedure, contract, or request for information, we may use it to periodically send you information. If you would prefer not to receive such information, you can choose to opt out of this service at any time.

Sharing Information

STMGC does not share any personal information with third parties.

Sale of Data

As a matter of policy, we do not sell, rent, disclose or give any of your personal information to third parties for their marketing or any other purpose without your explicit consent. STMGC takes steps that it believes to be reasonable and consistent with customary business practice to protect the information under our control from loss, misuse and alteration.

SMTGC uses standard security processes to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

Removal of Contact Information

If you would prefer not to receive information from the Club, you can request that you be removed from further email contacts by sending an email from that email account to privacy@stmgc.com. If you wish to remove yourself from any other contact from the Club, please provide a signed letter sent to the club or hand delivered to any Club board member.

It may be necessary from time to time for us to modify this privacy statement to reflect changes in the way we collect and use information or changes in privacy-related laws, regulations, and industry standards. Accordingly, we reserve the right to change this privacy statement at any time, without notice to you, by posting the revised policy on this website. Information will be handled according to the privacy statement in effect at the time the information is used. Your continued use of STMGC website following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.
